I’m an artist & designer who loves creating unique visual experiences for clients.

I have been creating collage and mixed media art for over 20 years and have honed my visual style as a freelance artist and designer within the interior design and product industries.

Working with imagery from resources in the public domain, my art strives to enact the process of defamiliarization, a literary term that means to “make the familiar unfamiliar in order to see it in a new way.”

Over the past few years, I have created collections of wall art, wall coverings, and textiles that bring whimsy and sophistication to a variety of interiors. I am inspired by the collage process itself and how the piecing together of image, color and pattern can dramatically impact our relationship to the spaces that surround us.

My work is primarily digital but I also incorporate analog mixed media into my illustrations. I enjoy creating works that have a strong visual impact through the juxtaposition of disparate images combined with bold colors, textures and patterns.

I enjoy the challenge of sourcing the perfect collage imagery and trying new techniques to achieve the particular visual impact desired by clients.
